چکیده

We use modiied Tsirelson's spaces 3] to prove that there is no nite basis for turbulent Polish group actions. This answers a question of 1. Introduction One of the trends in Descriptive Set Theory during the last decade or so concerns the study of classiiability of Borel equivalence relations. Particularly well-studied are the orbit equivalence relations of Polish group actions (see 7, 10, 11, 8]). An equivalence relation is considered to be classiiable if we can associate some \sim-ple" invariants to its equivalence classes in an eeective way. The most general formalization of this notion is the one in which these simple invariants are taken to be countable structures (or equivalently, the isomorphism classes of countable structures). The rst example of a Borel equivalence relation arising from a Polish group action which is not classiiable in this way was given by H. Friedman ((6]),

Turbulence, Representations, and Trace-preserving Actions

We establish criteria for turbulence in certain spaces of C∗-algebra representations and apply this to the problem of nonclassifiability by countable structures for group actions on a standard atomless probability space (X,μ) and on the hyperfinite II1 factor R. We also prove that the conjugacy action on the space of free actions of a countably infinite amenable group on R is turbulent, and tha...

Simultaneous estimation of heat fluxes applied to the wall of a channel with turbulent flow using inverse analysis

The main purpose of this study is to estimate the step heat fluxes applied to the wall of a two-dimensional symmetric channel with turbulent flow. For inverse analysis, conjugate gradient method with adjoint problem is used. In order to calculate the flow field,   two equation model is used. In this study, adjoint problem is developed to conduct an inverse analysis of heat transfer in a channel...

An analytical on the gap between theory and action in Allamah Tabatabaei

The gap between theory and ethical action is known an important problem in ethics and education. Analyzing the relationship between theory and ethical action and deciding the elements having to do with optional actions of human and their interaction, one may perceive the reasons and roots of the gap and, on this basis, improve educational theories to attain the harmony between theory and action...
